• Collaborate closely with the GE Services Project Manager (PM) to share responsibility for managing scope, schedule, resources, risks, and the quality of delivery.
• Responsible for the complete software delivery process to meet commitments related to schedule, cost, and quality.
• Develop effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) while accurately tracking, updating, and reporting on task activity progress.
• Oversee project team and activities to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
• Maintain effective communication with the Project Manager, Customers, Project team (both APAC and global), and DevOps regarding project and technical matters such as status, risks, mitigation strategies, scope, and issues.
• Actively engage in Gate Reviews (Requirements, Design, Factory Testing Readiness, Site Acceptance Readiness) with both GE and the customer.
• Employ software delivery performance measurement tools and indicators (e.g., Smartsheets).
• Address all client inquiries, bugs, and product ideas for ongoing projects and submit tickets to the Product team.
• Analyze and evaluate data and outcomes from project activities and tasks.
• Possess hands-on experience, with certification preferred, in managing projects that have deployed solutions to the AWS cloud (for GE and/or clients).
• Report on project outcomes and present findings to project partners and stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with our Service Engineering development lead during the development cycle to ensure all custom deliverables align with defined needs and standards, delivered on time and within budget.
• Embrace an Agile mindset and work effectively with one or more Scrum Teams (both regional and global) to execute and deliver solutions for our customers.
• Leverage GE Product knowledge and expertise to enhance execution excellence through continuous improvement and change management (reducing costs, lead times, improving productivity and quality, etc.).
• Have a solid understanding of DevOps concepts, including automated builds, deployments, and tests, to guide customers and apply these concepts to daily deliverables.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline from an accredited university or college.
• Extensive knowledge of the electricity industry, with over 5 years of experience in the energy sector.
• Relevant experience in delivery management.
• Preferred - Skills in energy consulting, advisory roles, and client presentations.
