• Collaborate closely with the GE Services Project Manager (PM) to manage scope, schedule, resources, risks, and ensure delivery quality.
• Responsible for the complete software delivery process, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Oversee project execution: Develop effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and meticulously track, update, and report on task progress.
• Lead the project team and manage activities to achieve project deliverables.
• Maintain clear communication with the Project Manager, Customer, and Project team (both APAC and global), as well as DevOps regarding project status, risks, mitigation strategies, scope, and issues.
• Actively engage in Gate Reviews (Requirements, Design, Factory Testing Readiness, Site Acceptance Readiness) involving both GE and the customer.
• Employ software delivery performance measurement tools and indicators, such as Smartsheets.
• Address all client inquiries, bugs, and product suggestions for ongoing projects and create tickets for the Product team.
• Analyze and evaluate data and results related to project activities and tasks.
• Possess hands-on experience, with certification being a plus, in managing projects that involve deploying solutions to the AWS cloud (for GE and/or clients).
• Report on project outcomes and present findings to project partners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with our Service Engineering development lead throughout the development cycle to ensure all custom deliverables meet defined requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintain an Agile mindset and work alongside one or more Scrum Teams (both Regional and Global) to execute and deliver solutions for our customers.
• Leverage GE Product knowledge and expertise to enhance execution excellence through continuous improvement and change management initiatives (cost reduction, lead time reduction, productivity enhancement, quality improvement, etc.).
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of DevOps concepts, including automated builds, deployments, and tests, to guide customers and incorporate those practices into daily deliverables.
• Validate project scope in coordination with the Solution Design team, identifying, documenting, and estimating any change requests (CR) or project risks along with mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to communicate effectively with the customer.
• Assist in the tendering process for project proposals or CRs by working with the Customer Engagement team/resource managers to verify scope and estimates, as well as review each proposal with the customer.
• Facilitate a seamless transition to the maintenance team upon project completion.
• Provide technical leadership for the delivery and implementation of large, complex solutions.
• Analyze, define, and prioritize Business and Functional requirements and processes while proposing technical solutions to address business challenges and close efficiency gaps.
• Oversee Business requirements throughout the entire project lifecycle, from definition and implementation to testing and delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and third parties.
• Participate in and lead technical requirements workshops.
• Create and deliver technical proposals and presentations.
• Demonstrate the ability to take ownership of issues and resolve them through self-driven initiative.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering Discipline from an accredited institution.
• Extensive knowledge of the electricity industry, with over 5 years of experience in the energy sector.
• Relevant experience in delivery management.
• Preferred - Skills in energy consulting, advisory roles, and client presentations.
