Defined Benefit Implementation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery of specified benefit implementation projects.

• Create and uphold project and risk plans that encompass scope, schedule, costs, resources, assumptions, and dependencies.

• Track project advancement and modify plans in response to scope alterations and changing business requirements.

• Utilize AI-driven tools to enhance project delivery, reporting, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement when applicable.

• Facilitate project and workstream meetings while documenting actions, decisions, and risks.

• Engage with project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment and accountability.

• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and propose solutions in complex or ambiguous circumstances.

• Negotiate resource requirements and coordinate efforts across teams.

• Ensure compliance with project management standards, procedures, and best practices.

• Delegate and supervise tasks for junior team members and support personnel.

• Assist in governance, portfolio oversight, and the ongoing enhancement of PMO tools, templates, and reporting practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years managing moderately complex to complex projects from initiation to completion.

• Proficient in project planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

• Capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.

• Proven experience in devising practical solutions in complex or unclear situations.

• Background in defined benefit implementation projects.

• Familiarity with pension, benefits administration, or related consulting environments.

• Understanding of PMO governance, tools, templates, and reporting standards.

• Experience in a professional services or client-facing role.
