
Default Servicing Manager – Bankruptcy & Foreclosure/Replevin

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
• Oversee the complete execution of bankruptcy workflows (Ch. 7, 11, 13)—including filings, claims, timelines, and resolutions.
• Manage replevin and legal recovery procedures from referral to judgment and resolution.
• Provide daily supervision of legal vendors, establishing clear performance expectations, service level agreements (SLAs), and accountability.
• Drive the reduction of cycle times from default to legal resolution.
• Optimize net recovery outcomes while effectively managing legal expenses.
• Develop and enhance workflows, playbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are scalable.
• Maintain real-time visibility and reporting of the pipeline (identifying what's stuck, what's progressing, and what requires escalation).
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Collections, Customer Experience, and Asset Management to ensure efficient progression of accounts through legal processes.
• Detect bottlenecks in legal and default workflows and swiftly implement solutions.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in default servicing with direct responsibility for bankruptcy and legal recovery processes.
• In-depth understanding of bankruptcy procedures and UCC Article 9 (replevin).
• Proven experience managing attorneys and legal vendors with an emphasis on performance and efficiency.
• Demonstrated success in enhancing timelines, recoveries, and operational execution.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Data-driven approach with the capacity to manage a pipeline rather than just individual cases.
• Nice to Have: Experience with chattel and manufactured housing; familiarity with scaling or high-growth servicing platforms.
