This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the deconversion planning process for all plans transitioning to the specified new recordkeeper.
• Facilitate all interactions with Plan Sponsors, Third Party Administrators, Brokers/Agents, and internal teams while making discretionary decisions based on the nature of the request (e.g., liquidation, registration, or transfer in kind) and the data required/requested.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with Plan Sponsors and Advisors, ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Ensure a seamless transition experience for clients through consultation via conference calls and regular email updates and progress reports.
• Collaborate with advisors, plan sponsors, previous record keepers, and/or third-party administrators to establish the liquidation date.
• Handle all communications, both proactive and reactive, with clients, advisors, new recordkeepers, brokers, TPAs, custodians, etc.
• Request and coordinate the collection of deconversion documentation while managing client and financial advisor expectations.
• Execute the deconversion process and perform quality checks on plans, ensuring zero errors during the transfer of retirement plan assets, including liquidations, in-kind transfers, and re-registrations.
• Prepare and deliver final conversion records to new service providers.
• Conduct all quality assurance checks, including trust reconciliation, verifying participant vesting, and creating/correcting statement edits.
• Proactively address client and financial advisor needs by providing status updates and resolving issues that could impact deadlines.
• Investigate and address any outstanding cash or late-posted dividends and residuals.
• Collaborate with the Relationship Management team to engage with Plan Sponsors, answering inquiries related to plan conversion issues, system capabilities, and special processing.
• 1-3 years of experience in Conversion/Deconversion.
• General knowledge and understanding of qualified retirement plans, including familiarity with plan setup relevant to daily plan administration.
• Proficient in Relius Recordkeeping Software.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Strong project management capabilities.

• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to engage with clients to resolve data conversion issues in a mutually beneficial manner.
