Decision Support Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with finance and operational leaders to pinpoint significant challenges and opportunities.

• Employ innovative thinking to tackle complex problems in a dynamic environment.

• Assess business operations in relation to industry best practices and internal objectives.

• Discover and execute cost-saving strategies across various divisions.

• Prepare and evaluate profitability analyses for different service lines.

• Offer actionable insights to enhance financial performance.

• Improve decision support systems through strategic initiatives.

• Create and uphold methodologies for costing, corporate allocations, patient-level analysis, and productivity evaluations.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline — Required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting — Required.

• Experience in healthcare finance or accounting — Preferred.

• Understanding of fundamental clinical and financial concepts essential for analyzing operational performance.

• Capability to work autonomously with little supervision.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Aptitude for prioritizing and organizing tasks effectively.

• Ability to provide weekly project updates.

• Skill in developing and maintaining policies and procedures.

• Strong technical, professional, organizational, and communication capabilities.

• Competence to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule instructions.

• Ability to function collaboratively as part of a team.

• Capable of sitting and viewing a computer screen for up to three hours continuously.

• Able to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

• Willingness to travel to off-site locations as necessary.
