• Develop, execute, and oversee profitable growth within the Continental Retread Solutions (CRS) dealer channel, with an emphasis on new tire and retread sales.
• Convey area sales management strategies through the regional channel (TSM/DM), Key Account Management (KAM) personnel, and cross-functional teams.
• Manage account strategies individually to bolster the overall profitability targets of the Continental Tires the Americas (CTA) business units.
• Mentor regional Territory Sales Managers (TSM) to engage with dealer and fleet accounts in their respective territories, ensuring adherence to individual customer strategies at the regional level.
• Oversee CRS dealer account(s), enhancing Continental’s market share by treating it as a mini business to achieve profitable growth through increased sales volume, improved pricing strategies, product mix optimization, and managing both fixed and variable expenses.
• Ensure that dealer strategies and objectives for CRS are backed at the business unit levels by both Continental personnel and selected customers.
• Conduct local sales prospecting within your designated area of responsibility in coordination with TSMs and KAMs.
• Communicate and uphold Continental’s strategic growth objectives.
• Serve as a liaison between the CRS dealer and the fleet business to guarantee that service levels and requirements are fulfilled while ensuring product availability for our fleet customers.
• Collaboratively assist the marketing department by gathering competitive insights to support the formulation of strategic initiatives as well as event planning and promotions.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of relevant sales or marketing experience OR High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 3+ years of relevant sales or marketing experience if a Bachelor’s Degree is not held.
• Willingness to travel as necessary within the assigned territory, including overnight travel (up to approximately 75%).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.
• Continental can provide visa support for internal candidates who currently hold a valid employment visa.
• 2+ years of experience in the commercial truck tire industry on either the dealer or manufacturer side (preferred).
• 2+ years of sales experience in truck tires (preferred).
• Capability to meet physical demands such as lifting, walking, sitting, squatting, bending, and climbing around commercial vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally, including rolling, moving, or stacking.
