This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Create presentations and proposals to effectively convey the company’s products and services to all levels of management within both Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
• Seek out sales opportunities and engage with assigned accounts as well as potential clients.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals generated from field activities within independent and franchise dealerships.
• Establish, nurture, and expand relationships with existing and prospective dealer partners in the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Maintain consistent and effective communication through phone calls and in-person visits with dealer partners to provide training on current programs and rapid funding requirements.
• Deliver solutions, rework, and restructure vehicle loans for approval in a manner that is profitable for both Westlake and the Dealership Partners.
• Aid in the preparation of sales contracts by guiding the dealer on the necessary information required for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Create, maintain, and keep abreast of sales materials while staying informed about current financial product knowledge.
• Engage in marketing activities such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events aimed at independent and franchise dealers.
• Proven experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (mandatory).
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a Sales role with a demonstrated history of success.
• A college degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient presentation skills, from initial creation to delivery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion strategies.
• Strong computer proficiency and adaptability to new technologies.
• Goal-oriented with a commitment to personal and professional growth.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge/experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (advantageous).
• Previous experience in Outside Sales (preferred).
• Willingness to travel locally to meet with current and potential clients, requiring a valid state driver's license.
