This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Create presentations and proposals to effectively showcase company products and services to management at all levels within Independent and Franchise Dealerships.
• Recognize sales opportunities and reach out to these and other designated accounts.
• Conduct follow-ups on new leads and referrals generated from field activities with both independent and franchise dealers.
• Foster, sustain, and expand relationships with existing and prospective dealer partners in the Independent and Franchise Dealer sectors.
• Maintain consistent and effective communication through phone calls and in-person visits with dealer partners to provide training on current programs and fast funding requirements.
• Offer solutions and restructure vehicle loans to secure approvals that are profitable for Westlake and the Dealership Partners.
• Assist in the preparation of sales contracts by guiding dealers on the necessary documentation required for proper verification by Westlake Financial.
• Develop, sustain, and comprehend sales materials while staying updated on current financial product knowledge.
• Engage in marketing activities such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for independent and franchise dealers.
• Proven experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (mandatory).
• 1-2 years of prior experience in a Sales position with a demonstrated history of success.
• College degree (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient presentation skills, from initial creation to delivery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with advertising and sales promotion strategies.
• Solid computer skills and adaptability to new technologies.
• Goal-oriented with a commitment to personal improvement and career advancement.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
• Knowledge/Experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (advantageous).
• Prior Outside Sales Experience (preferred).
• Significant local travel to current and potential clients is required; possession of a valid state driver's license is necessary.
