Deal Desk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead the review and approval process for non-standard, intricate, and high-value deals.

• Collaborate with Sales and Account Management to structure pricing and commercial terms.

• Ensure that deals align with revenue recognition and margin requirements prior to signature.

• Work alongside Legal on non-standard terms and revisions.

• Oversee and facilitate the transition from signed contract to go-live.

• Identify potential obstacles, resolve issues, and escalate remaining challenges with recommendations.

• Automate workflows across Chargebee, PandaDoc, HubSpot, n8n, and Claude.

• Act as the dependable point of contact for complex deals.

• Track the average time from signed contract to live revenue.

• Monitor the proportion of deals and setup steps that operate without manual intervention.

• Assess cycle time for non-standard deal reviews.

• Several years of experience in deal desk, revenue operations, business operations, or commercial finance.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform a disorganized funnel into a prioritized list of enhancements.

• Practical automation experience in building workflows.

• Proficient in commercial risk assessment and pragmatic decision-making.

• Confidence in questioning processes from other teams and making decisions.

• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to establish a new function from the ground up.

• Knowledge of subscription billing and contract tools.

• Familiarity with Chargebee and PandaDoc is an advantage.
