This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Evaluate deal economics for both standard and non-standard agreements, focusing on pricing, discounting, term lengths, usage commitments, and their impact on gross margin.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to design commercially viable deals by assessing trade-offs related to price, volume, and risk.
• Develop, maintain, and assess financial models and pricing scenarios for non-standard deal requests and approvals from senior leadership.
• Manage the complete Deal Desk workflow in Salesforce/CPQ, from constructing quotes and securing pricing approvals to creating Order Forms, executing DocuSign, and closing opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with data integrity and policy requirements.
• Build effective working relationships with Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, Corporate Finance, and Sales to enhance deal processing speed.
• Provide guidance to Sales and GTM teams on contracting policies, approval matrices, and discount regulations.
• Work in conjunction with Sales and Legal on non-standard Order Form contract language, corporate risk assessment, and revenue recognition guidelines.
• Identify recurring deal trends, approval anomalies, and operational challenges to refine Deal Desk workflows and enhance system efficiency.
• May require occasional travel for project or team meetings in person.
• A Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree combined with at least 2 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, or a related analytical GTM/Deal Desk position; if no degree, a minimum of 4 years of pertinent analytical experience is necessary.
• Proven analytical and financial capabilities, with a solid grasp of fundamental financial principles and the ability to clearly articulate financial trade-offs.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, with demonstrable experience in creating intermediate financial models, logic formulas, and scenario analyses.
• Capacity to handle multiple high-velocity requests at once while maintaining exceptional organization under tight deadlines.
• A self-motivated individual with a proactive attitude, comfortable with seeking clarification and operating with high integrity.
• Familiarity with online sales and/or document management tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, CLM, and JIRA is preferred.
• Must reside in Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta, Canada.
