Research Coverage Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in clinical research initiatives throughout the Providence Health System.

• Create Medicare Coverage Analyses for clinical trial protocols that include billable services.

• Execute thorough Medicare Coverage Analyses in accordance with Medicare's Clinical Trial Policy.

• Utilize national medical guidelines, local practice standards, peer-reviewed literature, and both local and national coverage determinations.

• Ensure that analyses cover all billable services outlined in clinical trial protocols.

• Collaborate with the CTMS, Budget, and Billing Adjudication teams.

• Maintain compliance with federal regulations and internal guidelines.

• Report directly to the Coverage Analysis Manager.

• Work together with research organizations within Providence.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field, or 4 additional years of relevant experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in developing Coverage Analysis and interpreting Medicare requirements for research.

• Must adhere to standards of confidentiality, attendance, and punctuality.

• Preferred: 4 years of experience in research, billing, or healthcare administration.
