Deal Desk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete contract operations process, including preparing quotes, drafting tailored terms and conditions, and managing order booking and reconciliation.

• Review orders for accuracy, completeness, necessary approvals, annual contract value (ACV), and recurring revenue.

• Monitor non-standard and custom terms throughout the deal lifecycle.

• Provide guidance to sales teams regarding deal structure and discounting to achieve high-quality, approvable results.

• Function as a true partner to the sales team — assessing deals, reducing wasted efforts, and advancing suitable opportunities.

• Promote best practices throughout the contracts process and proactively document new or revised procedures.

• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across various functions, acting as an advisor instead of a gatekeeper.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in deal desk or sales operations within the cloud software sector.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging confidently at all organizational levels.

• Proficient in using a CRM platform and understanding the quote-to-order process, including robust reporting capabilities.

• Experience in structuring complex deals, such as multi-year contracts with ramp schedules.

• Comfortable drafting and reviewing custom contract terms, including analyzing capitalized terms across various documents.

• Strong analytical skills and practical judgment in ambiguous, high-stakes situations.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and uphold clear standard operating procedures.

• Capability to work independently as part of a global team, quickly adapting to changing priorities.

• A cross-functional perspective — considering downstream effects before making recommendations.
