This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Serve as the subject matter authority for various products and services.
• Manage and address intricate calls with high-profile clients.
• Resolve complex customer issues and escalate to management when necessary.
• Determine training needs based on anticipated production processes, modifications, and other relevant factors.
• Collect information from customers, technical teams, engineering, software, and product specifications to develop training programs.
• Ensure the successful implementation of training initiatives.
• Join a scheduled on-call rotation approximately every two months.
• Provide support for the technological foundation of the Nlyte application suite and its installation environment.
• Assist with enterprise applications, databases, onsite communication equipment, storage, associated software, and data center technology and operations.
• Collaborate with enterprise-wide applications integrated with Nlyte, such as VCenter, HP UCMDB, and ServiceNow.
• Diagnose communication problems involving Modbus, SNMP, and BACnet protocols.
• Maintain support availability from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM UK time for clients and systems operating within the UK time zone.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or HVAC.
• Over 5 years of experience in Technology, Controls (BMS, EPMS, Automation), or DevOps.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in supporting enterprise applications, databases, onsite communication equipment, storage, or data center technology and operations.
• A dedicated and quiet workspace.
• A reliable, high-speed internet connection suitable for daily remote work.
• Windows System Administration skills are preferred.
• Knowledge of Linux is preferred.
• Experience with web technologies such as Web Services, IIS, and XML is preferred.
• Application System Administration experience is preferred.
• Basic SQL skills, including executing scripts and accessing tables, are preferred.
• Familiarity with system permissions is preferred.
• Understanding of problem management, service desk operations, and change management processes.
• Experience in troubleshooting Modbus, SNMP, and BACnet protocols.
• Ability to work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM UK time.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation approximately every two months.
