This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Develops lesson plans and instructs based on the established syllabus.
• Guides and observes students as they practice proper techniques and patient interactions (where applicable).
• Prepares, administers, and evaluates assessments.
• Ensures a safe and conducive learning environment within the classroom.
• Designs syllabi and outlines for courses.
• Participates in assessing students' non-cognitive behaviors.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge and expertise in the relevant instructional area.
• Previous teaching experience in a university or professional education setting.
• Graduate of a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) program accredited by the CCE.
• Must hold an active chiropractic physician license in the state of Oregon (or obtain such licensure shortly after hiring).
• Capable of effectively addressing sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to utilize logical or scientific reasoning to solve a variety of intellectual and practical challenges.
• Proficient in accessing current electronic information.
• Adequate stamina to deliver lectures and/or lab sessions with brief intervals over a 1 to 4-hour duration.
• Sufficient mobility to engage with students involved in different lab activities.
• Adequate visual acuity to accurately observe relevant structures and details as required by instructional tasks.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle essential tools and equipment as necessary for instructional purposes.
• Preferred expertise in evidence-informed practice skills.
