DC Engineer, FDC/BDC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform time studies, zero-based analysis, rate analysis, network analysis, statistical analysis, flow path analysis, and other relevant supply chain analyses.

• Discover opportunities for logistics process enhancements through competitive assessments and analytical thinking.

• Assist in or spearhead cross-functional strategic initiatives or process improvement projects.

• Engage with senior operational leaders and stakeholders to align on implementation plans and success metrics.

• Generate reports and execute ad hoc queries.

• Identify, adjust, and create standard operating procedures to optimize operational processes and training initiatives.

• Facilitate the implementation of completed Kaizen events and ensure process changes are aligned with local leadership.

• Offer recommendations for effective transitions.

• Lead process improvement projects utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

• Provide support for facility and capacity planning related to distribution and transportation functions in logistics.

• Report directly to the Logistics Manager, with no direct reports.

• Generally requires overnight travel of 20% to 50% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen years old.

• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study related to the position.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience.

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, and AutoCAD.

• Experience in conducting time studies and developing engineered performance standards.

• Leadership experience is not required.

• No certifications are necessary.
