Dayforce Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the architecture for Dayforce solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Analyze client business goals and convert them into practical solution designs.

• Create custom extensibility solutions utilizing the Dayforce Extensibility Framework.

• Design and implement modern integrations via APIs, RESTful services, SOAP, and Microservices.

• Drive solution development for Dayforce AI modules.

• Utilize generative AI tools for crafting solution designs and documentation.

• Act as the main point of contact for clients after contract execution.

• Provide best-practice guidance on custom solutions.

• Work alongside implementation teams to ensure the overall solution architecture is robust.

• Lead design and peer reviews, along with individual and team unit testing and client QA/UAT support activities.

• Develop and maintain detailed solution documentation.

• Guide junior and intermediate consultants.

• Partner with Dayforce product teams to pinpoint product gaps and opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Dayforce solution architecture.

• Deep understanding of the Dayforce Extensibility Framework.

• Over 3 years of experience in designing, coding, testing, and documenting modern APIs and middleware.

• Proven experience in solutioning for Dayforce AI modules.

• Comfort and demonstrated experience with generative AI tools.

• Knowledge of the Canadian and US domains.

• Strong consulting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in coaching and/or mentoring others.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

• Willingness and ability to travel to client locations as necessary.
