Data/Java Engineer – AI, LLM Chatbot, Customer Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Development and execution of backend services for AI Chatbot products.

• Create large-scale software systems that can influence the daily lives of millions of users.

• Investigate and integrate LLM applications to enhance chatbot performance and user experience.

• Upgrade infrastructure and architecture, optimize performance, troubleshoot online incidents, and refactor systems.

• Produce high-quality, clean, and maintainable code while utilizing engineering best practices, guiding junior engineers in their daily tasks, and facilitating knowledge sharing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

• More than 8 years of professional experience in a relevant field.

• Proficiency in core Java programming and a willingness to engage in hands-on coding are essential.

• Familiarity with Python and experience collaborating with algorithm engineers are preferred.

• Ability to handle stress and rapidly acquire new knowledge.

• Strong communication skills across teams.

• Understanding of design patterns and system design necessary for addressing common software programming challenges.

• Experience with Chatbot and Custom Service Bot is advantageous.

• Familiarity with LLM usage is considered beneficial.

• Experience with data jobs such as Flink/Spark is a plus.
