Databricks Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic architectural guidance for Databricks solutions.

• Tackle technical challenges and assist in the sales process.

• Design scalable data architectures that meet customer needs.

• Collaborate with customers' technical leads and build trust.

• Manage technical risks and ensure project deliverability.

• Conduct code reviews and enhance resource utilization.

• Offer mentorship on Databricks capabilities to team members.

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for Databricks products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or a consulting position.

• Proficient in Big Data engineering, Data Warehousing & ETL, Data Science and Machine Learning, and Data Applications.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Databricks.

• Possession of one or more Databricks certifications at the professional level.

• Ability to translate a customer's business requirements into effective technology solutions.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and database technologies.

• Experience in debugging and development using Python, Scala, Java, or R.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud services.

• A degree in a quantitative field is preferred.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
