Databricks Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement large-scale Databricks and cloud data platforms.

• Develop data engineering and ETL/ELT solutions utilizing Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Python, SQL, and Delta Lake.

• Employ Lakehouse architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing methodologies.

• Integrate data platforms and systems at an enterprise level.

• Execute CI/CD and DevOps practices for production-ready data platforms.

• Enhance platform and workload performance.

• Utilize Unity Catalog and MLflow.

• Provide solution architecture and systems integration expertise.

• Consult with clients and oversee stakeholder management.

• Present solutions and deliver technical leadership.

• Work during EST time zone / night shift.

• Support long-term contract engagements and potentially manage dual projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of comprehensive IT experience.

• Significant hands-on experience with Databricks.

• Completion of 10+ end-to-end Databricks implementation projects.

• Expertise in enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.

• Experience with production-level data platforms and Lakehouse architecture.

• Proficient in Databricks, Apache Spark, PySpark, Python, SQL, AWS, Azure, GCP, Lakehouse Architecture, Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, CI/CD, DevOps, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Performance Optimization, Solution Architecture, and Systems Integration.

• Strong consulting skills with a focus on client-facing interactions and stakeholder management.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.

• Must possess Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional certification.

• Must be available to work during EST time zone / night shift.
