Database Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess, implement, test, and oversee technology solutions.

• Create and execute architectural strategies, feasibility studies, and integration analyses.

• Independently collect and define architecture requirements, ensuring compatibility and compliance with relevant IT organization and project standards.

• Evaluate the application architecture of systems, conduct risk assessments, and establish suitable architectures for testing environments.

• Manage multiple tasks concurrently as needed, adapt to shifting priorities, pay attention to detail, and work independently.

• Compose comprehensive client deliverable analysis reports with minimal supervision.

• Must be adept at using organization-defined architecture tools, repositories, and repository management processes to capture, publish, and maintain architecture artifacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.

• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be accepted if other criteria are fulfilled.

• A minimum of 10 years of overall experience in information technology.

• Must possess experience in Software Engineering, including development, integration, architecture analysis, and testing integrations among applications, databases, and external systems.

• Experience working with Oracle or SQL Server in UNIX/VMS/Windows environments.

• Familiarity with Oracle Millennium is preferred.

• Knowledge of AI tools for software development and data analysis is a plus.

• Desired skills include the ability to design and create test cases, system integration with external components, and a solid understanding of system architecture and database development.
