This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee, monitor, and ensure the optimal performance of extensive physical PostgreSQL clusters.

• Analyze critical incidents related to availability and performance.

• Engage in extensive tuning at the Linux kernel level.

• Strategize and implement updates for the operating system and database stack.

• Enhance key PostgreSQL configuration settings for improved performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong background as a DBA/Senior Architect overseeing large-scale, high-transaction PostgreSQL environments, particularly focusing on recent versions.

• Profound understanding of database physical architecture and its direct engagement with Linux.

• Extensive practical experience with high-availability orchestration utilizing Patroni.

• Capable of performing effectively under pressure during critical incidents.

• Proficient in English at a Technical/Advanced level for interpreting official documentation.
