Database Administrator – Junior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assist with the management and oversight of databases.

• Support in both physical and logical database modeling.

• Develop, execute, and enhance SQL queries.

• Aid in data migration and integration activities.

• Revise technical documentation, data dictionaries, and diagrams.

• Implement information security best practices and adhere to LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law).

• Provide assistance to development teams with queries, stored procedures, views, and triggers.

• Utilize AI tools (LLMs) to optimize processes and expedite technical tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Networking, IT, or related fields.

• Initial experience (including internships) in database administration.

• Proficiency in SQL (DDL and DML).

• Experience with at least one relational database (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle).

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

• Basic understanding of LGPD.

• Familiarity with ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or other AI development tools (preferred).

• Completion of a course in Prompt Engineering or AI applied to development (preferred).

• Certifications such as Azure DP-900, PostgreSQL, or Oracle Database Foundations (preferred).
