Database Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver support services as a Database Administrator to align with the operational goals of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

• Conduct regular database backups to maintain data integrity and facilitate ad hoc recovery using advanced tools and applications.

• Oversee database usage and performance while planning necessary enhancements.

• Offer technical expertise and support when assessing, customizing, and implementing both open source and commercial data management systems, applications, and tools that aid research.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ph.D. in Statistics or a related field.

• 11 years of relevant experience in data management.

• Proficient in effective communication, both verbally and in writing, with both technical and non-technical personnel.

• Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
