Database Administrator III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as a Database Administrator III.

• Optimize performance through query tuning, execution plans, indexes, and statistics.

• Oversee backup and restoration processes.

• Monitor the system, conduct troubleshooting, and analyze locks and deadlocks to maintain system stability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in T-SQL and the development of Stored Procedures, Views, and Functions.

• Experience with SQL Server Agent, backup/restore operations, and performance optimization techniques.

• Preferred familiarity with Always On Availability Groups, Log Shipping, and advanced performance tuning methods.

• Understanding of PostgreSQL and database migration processes.

• Experience in defining Backup, Restore, and Disaster Recovery strategies.

• Competence in utilizing monitoring tools.
