SQL Database Administrator, Top Secret Clearance Required

📋 Description

• Oversees all tasks associated with the management of computerized databases.

• Anticipates long-term requirements for database management and design in collaboration with other leaders in the information systems department.

• Designs, establishes, and maintains databases within a client/server framework.

• Performs quality control and auditing of databases to guarantee precise and suitable data usage.

• Guides users on accessing various client/server databases.

• Develops, implements, and sustains intricate databases concerning JCL, access methods, access times, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methodologies.

• Utilizes knowledge and expertise in database technologies, development practices, and front-end/back-end programming languages (e.g., SQL).

• Executes database programming and assists in systems design.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience with database query languages such as Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and MS-SQL.

• At least three years of hands-on experience and proficiency in Relational Database Management Systems.

• Involvement in at least two projects within a large organization, responsible for managing, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database.

• Proficient with enterprise Oracle database software, Microsoft SQL Server, and IBM DB2.

• US Citizenship is a requirement.
