This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Participate in collaborative and independent design initiatives to comprehend and outline workflows, analyze data and processing needs, evaluate technical limitations, and pinpoint opportunities for enhancing efficiency within the organization.
• Develop and uphold clear and consistent practices to guarantee data integrity and database security by overseeing user permissions, enforcing validation rules, and ensuring data accuracy and cleanliness.
• Assist in the creation of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Strengthen interdepartmental efforts to seamlessly integrate business processes and information systems throughout the organization.
• Tailor and create templates, macros, and forms within the database to accommodate changing requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to offer technical support regarding the database and boost knowledge and skills to maximize its effectiveness.
• Through training and mentorship, contribute to establishing a culture of shared learning and ongoing skill development.
• Salesforce Platform Administrator certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of combined experience as a Business Analyst and Database Administrator in a nonprofit environment.
• Proven experience in independently developing advanced flows, custom logic, validation rules, duplicate management strategies, approval processes, stage management, and other Salesforce functionalities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex database administration projects while effectively managing individual workloads.
• Familiarity with best practices in Salesforce administration.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
• Proven capacity to understand, evaluate, and articulate complex processes.
• Ability to identify interdependencies, critical technical points, and broader implications when designing processes and solutions.
• In-depth understanding of relational databases and database architecture/design.
• Experience in a diverse, team-oriented, and fast-paced work environment.
• Knowledge and experience in data migration and systems integration.
