Data Visualization Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop clear and impactful data visualizations, including reports and dashboards, by leveraging tools such as Google Data Studio.

• Guarantee the utmost accuracy and reliability of all data products by proactively identifying and resolving technical errors and data discrepancies.

• Collaborate with the AVA Product Director to create master dashboards and visualizations that inform product roadmaps and commercial strategies.

• Analyze Viamo data to address specific inquiries regarding AVA's performance in various countries, contributing to the discovery of insights and interpretation of trends in complex datasets.

• Map and assess the comprehensive user journey within AVA, assisting the product manager in pinpointing drop-off areas, friction in the user experience, and opportunities for enhancing lifetime value or engagement impact.

• Convert intricate data structures and statistical results into concise, narrative-driven insights and commercial recommendations tailored for executive stakeholders, commercial partners, and donors.

• Advise the product team on metric definitions and suggest methods for achieving a cohesive approach to product measurement.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst or in a comparable role.

• Strong proficiency in SQL.

• Demonstrated experience with dashboarding tools such as Google Data Studio.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Robust technical problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of troubleshooting, debugging, and clearly conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.

• Established experience working autonomously and effectively as part of a remote, global team.

• A degree in computer science, data science, or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with data warehouse solutions such as BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
