Data Steward

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Oversee the governance and quality of data within Smartsheet's primary CRM system that supports Sales operations.

• Manage data assets and implement processes that enable Sales representatives to locate and comprehend the necessary data.

• Assist Sales analysts with data cleansing and investigate reporting discrepancies.

• Drive modifications and updates to master data, metadata, data hierarchies, and affiliations in accordance with established guidelines.

• Ensure that Sales operates from a dependable, accessible single source of truth.

• Conduct initial data quality assessments on extracted data.

• Suggest updates to leadership regarding data governance policies, practices, and guidelines.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in metadata management is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Cloud and SaaS go-to-market (GTM) strategies.

• Understanding of data governance challenges and best practices related to data quality and stewardship.

• High level of proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions.

• Proficient in Salesforce.com or a similar CRM tool.

• Ability to connect Sales partners with the information necessary to manage accounts effectively.

• Must be a resident of Costa Rica.
