Data Steward

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Engage in various projects related to data governance and data quality, focusing on personnel and finance.

• Maintain communication with the operational floor and apply data policies in practice.

• Ensure support for data quality standards, data definitions/glossaries, and reporting templates.

• Raise awareness of the significance of data and improve data quality and data literacy.

• Provide or organize training and presentations on data-driven work.

• Conduct investigations into the root causes of data anomalies (root cause analyses).

• Establish monitoring for data quality and report findings to data owners and users.

• Propose structural solutions for data issues, including data cleansing and adjustments to technical systems.

• Resolve data incidents at the operational/tactical level, monitor progress, and escalate if necessary.

• Set up and implement data management processes.

• Execute and report on solution directions following risk analyses.

• Collaborate closely with colleagues from all areas of DJI.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in data management and/or data stewardship.

• Knowledge of data management, such as DAMA DMBOK.

• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to think and act on various levels (operational, tactical, and strategic).

• Proactively identify and address issues and opportunities.

• Strong networking abilities.

• Solution-oriented and collaborative mindset.

• Socially driven and aligned with the mission of DJI.

• A motivation letter is required.

• A VOG (Certificate of Conduct) will be requested prior to employment.

• An assessment may be part of the application process.

• HBO Bachelor level required.
