This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

šŸ“‹ Description

• Assist in the development and enhancement of data integration solutions and scalable frameworks for data integration.

• Help refine ETL processes to ensure effective data flow.

• Participate in cross-functional, matrixed project teams and engage in daily project tasks.

• Work collaboratively with various departments to incorporate data requirements into Cotiviti's strategic initiatives.

• Implement and enhance processes while documenting updates.

• Engage in research, design, programming, testing, and implementation activities.

• Organize meetings, manage agendas, and monitor action items across Business Units.

• Collaborate with technical product owners, architects, and engineers to clarify business requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Perform data mapping and transformation utilizing the Hadoop and Spark ecosystems, including Hue, Hive, Impala, and Spark.

• Analyze, validate, and prepare extensive healthcare datasets for organizational utilization.

• Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and assist with change and release management activities.


ā›³ļø Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Data Science, Biostatistics, Health Information Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

• 1–2 years of experience in technical roles is required; 2+ years is preferred.

• Exposure to healthcare data management, ETL development, data integration, or a similar area is necessary.

• Proficiency with tools from the Hadoop ecosystem, including Hue, Hive, and Impala queries.

• Expertise in Spark ecosystems and experience with PySpark, Scala, and Spark SQL for data transformation, ETL, and analytics.

• Skills in navigating command line interfaces, including Bash and PowerShell, and using hdfs dfs for HDFS operations.

• Proficiency in Python for tasks involving data transformation and file extraction/processing.

• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

• Familiarity with JIRA and Agile methodologies.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Knowledge of Data Engineering best practices.

• Must be able to provide a dedicated and secure workspace.

• Must ensure high-speed internet access/connectivity and maintain an office setup.
