This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• The Data Security Manager serves as a strategic and operational leader accountable for the comprehensive management of iFood’s corporate and production data security initiatives.
• This role functions at the crossroads of security strategy, leadership, and business facilitation.
• The Data Security Manager supervises a team of specialists, promotes the integration of AI within the Data Security sector, and guarantees that data protection measures evolve in line with iFood’s growth.
• Foster a high-performance environment: acknowledge achievements, conduct blameless post-mortems, and cultivate psychological safety.
• Take ownership of the strategy for Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Establish and enforce data classification policies and handling protocols for internal personnel and external partners.
• Oversee assessments of production data security architecture.
• Demonstrated expertise in people leadership: 3+ years of experience managing and developing a team of security specialists or analysts, with proven success in talent retention, succession planning, and performance management.
• Strong background in data protection, DLP, ZTNA, and information security governance — with a proven track record of strategic oversight in a Data Security domain.
• Comprehensive understanding of Zero Trust architecture principles and their practical application: ZTNA, conditional access, device posture, and identity-based segmentation.
• Extensive knowledge of enhancing corporate SaaS security: Google Workspace, Salesforce, Databricks, and other platforms, including emerging AI-based solutions.
• Familiarity with data architecture concepts, including APIs, ETL pipelines, data warehouses, cloud data platforms, and production data exchange methods.
• Awareness of regulatory frameworks such as LGPD, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and requirements from BACEN and PROUF.
• Practical experience with AI tools for Data Security: anomaly detection, automated classification, DLP tuning, or expediting investigations — with documented, tangible, and measurable outcomes.
• Strong analytical and investigative abilities: capable of tracing a data leak from signal to root cause and converting findings into systemic recommendations.
• Executive-level communication skills: adept at presenting to C-level executives, drafting board-level risk updates, and translating technical risks into business-impact terminology.
• Strategic planning experience: skilled in developing multi-year security roadmaps, managing program dependencies, and reporting progress to senior leadership.
• Budget management experience: proficient in forecasting and justifying investments in security tools and staffing.
• Cross-functional influence: capable of achieving results without formal authority, effectively handling conflicting priorities across Legal, Engineering, Product, and IT.
