This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and refine machine learning models — encompassing data exploration, feature engineering, training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Design and sustain elements of production ML pipelines: including data preprocessing, model serving, monitoring, and retraining processes.
• Contribute to systems powered by large language models — creating prompt chains, evaluation harnesses, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, or fine-tuning workflows.
• Analyze extensive multimodal datasets (text, image, video, structured metadata) to extract features and insights that inform downstream models.
• Produce clean, tested, and production-grade Python code — beyond mere notebooks.
• Engage in code reviews, design conversations, and retrospective discussions on experiments.
• 2–4 years of experience in developing machine learning models, with a portion of that work deployed in production environments.
• Strong foundational knowledge in machine learning: understanding bias-variance trade-offs, cross-validation, regularization, and the ability to analyze reasons behind underperformance of models.
• Proficient in Python with familiarity in essential machine learning libraries.
• Experience with at least one of the following: natural language processing/large language models, computer vision, recommendation systems, or time-series analysis.
• Solid background in software engineering practices — including Git, testing, CI/CD, and code review processes.
• A genuine curiosity about large language models and contemporary AI tools.
