This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Drive significant business outcomes utilizing machine learning and GenAI/LLM-driven solutions.
• Enhance operational efficiency through scalable and production-ready analytics.
• Create and sustain Power BI reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven business decisions.
• Discover and execute high-value GenAI use cases throughout the organization.
• Analyze and merge large, intricate datasets from various sources.
• Design, construct, and implement machine learning models and LLM-powered solutions.
• Develop GenAI applications such as text classification, embeddings, summarization, and decision-support tools.
• Productionize models via CI/CD pipelines and manage workflows using Airflow DAGs.
• Monitor model performance while aiding in documentation, governance, reliability, and ongoing maintenance.
• Convert analytical findings into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create visualizations to monitor KPIs, trends, and model results.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to pinpoint opportunities for advanced analytics and AI adoption.
• Implement data validation and quality assurance checks.
• Advocate for ethical AI practices, data privacy, and governance standards.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the establishment of team best practices.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or a related domain.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline is required.
• Strong expertise in SQL and Python, or R.
• Practical experience in developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and LLMs, including prompting, embeddings, and NLP-related applications.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Airflow, and workflow orchestration.
• Extensive experience with Power BI or comparable data visualization tools.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong data intuition and capability to recognize patterns, anomalies, and valuable insights.
• Ability to convey complex analytical and AI concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development methodologies.
• Capacity to work independently in uncertain environments.
• Proven track record of building and deploying machine learning solutions in production.
• Experience in applying statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as business needs require.
• Ability to work over 40 hours per week when necessary for business operations.
• Capability to access information using a computer.
• Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Preferred: experience in operationalizing LLM-based solutions in a production environment.
• Preferred: familiarity with MLOps and model lifecycle management.
