This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.
• Create and uphold measurement frameworks and statistical models that assess viewership, engagement, as well as brand and sponsor exposure across both broadcast and streaming platforms.
• Develop methods for causal inference and machine learning to measure outcomes and ad impact.
• Validate models using real-world data and document methodologies to ensure results can be defended to clients.
• Collaborate with the broadcast product and computer vision teams to establish and enhance detection quality and audience metrics.
• Construct cross-platform identity, reach, frequency, and attribution methods to eliminate audience duplication across various screens.
• Oversee measurement accuracy and initiate enhancements in partnership with engineering and product teams.
• Develop and sustain large-scale data pipelines and analyses focused on broadcast and streaming data.
• Convert intricate analytical outputs into clear KPIs, narratives, and visual representations for product, sales, and clients.
• Examine trends in viewership and sponsorship metrics to identify opportunities and gaps.
• Collaborate with product and go-to-market teams to establish KPIs and influence how Zoomph presents its broadcast measurement.
• Support sales and customer success teams regarding measurement methodology through comprehensive documentation.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a closely related quantitative field.
• 3-5+ years of practical experience in data science or advanced analytics within the media, broadcast, or ad-tech sectors.
• Expertise in Python and/or R, along with experience in SQL and cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Familiarity with statistical modeling, causal inference, or machine learning as applied to audience or campaign data.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of translating analytical insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Experience with methodologies for cross-screen or TV viewership measurement is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of media attribution, reach/frequency modeling, or TV ad impact measurement is preferred.
• Background in identity graph analytics or cross-platform audience deduplication is preferred.
• Previous experience at a media measurement, streaming analytics, or sports data company is a strong advantage.
