Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create and enhance forecasting, predictive analytics, and decision-support solutions.

• Examine demand patterns, seasonality, market trends, and critical business drivers.

• Enhance forecast precision by identifying bias sources and suggesting process improvements.

• Design, develop, and sustain dashboards, key performance indicators, and analytical tools.

• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Commercial, Supply Planning, Information Technology, and external partners.

• Prepare, validate, and analyze extensive and complex datasets.

• Develop, test, implement, and maintain statistical and machine learning models.

• Support comprehensive project delivery, covering discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, adoption, and knowledge transfer.

• Assess emerging technologies, analytical methods, and automation possibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or a similar discipline.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering analytical solutions that provide measurable business value.

• Strong grasp of statistical analysis, forecasting methods, and predictive modeling techniques.

• Experience in developing and implementing machine learning models in a business context.

• Proficient in Python and/or R for data analysis, modeling, and automation.

• Solid understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL), data management, and data preparation methods.

• Experience utilizing data visualization and reporting tools to effectively communicate insights.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience supporting Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning processes.

• Knowledge of demand forecasting platforms, supply chain planning systems, or advanced analytics technologies.
