Data Protection and Information Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist clients in the introduction and implementation of Data Protection Management Systems (DPMS) and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

• Provide guidance to national clients on the application of information security measures in alignment with VdS 10000, ISO/IEC 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and CISIS12.

• Offer counsel on data protection law projects and the execution of GDPR compliance.

• Communicate findings and results effectively to clients.

• Develop and maintain data protection documentation, policies, and operational instructions.

• Organize and deliver training and awareness programs.

• Act as the primary contact for issues related to data protection and IT law.

• Travel to client locations within Bavaria.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training or a degree in business administration, law, information technology, or a related discipline.

• Relevant professional experience in data protection or information security.

• A strong desire to learn and enhance expertise in the field.

• A structured and results-oriented work approach.

• Excellent communication skills along with a confident demeanor.

• Fluent proficiency in German suitable for professional negotiations.

• Competence in MS Office applications.

• Willingness to travel to client sites in Bavaria.
