Data Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Manage the delivery of the D&A project from initiation to closure (requirements definition, planning, execution, and control).

• Coordinate deliverables across data engineering, platform, and reporting workflows.

• Drive a clear definition of roles and responsibilities, resource planning, and execution pace.

• Maintain integrated plans, RAID (risks, actions, issues, and dependencies) logs, and be accountable for key project decisions.

• Engage stakeholders to confirm priorities, clarify requirements, and manage expectations.

• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and estimates.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience as a Project Manager and in Data Governance for at least 5 to 6 years (project manager), within the context of data projects in an IT environment.

• Proven experience working with data governance requirements, privacy, and security (access controls, data quality, auditability).

• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders, lead steering committees, and resolve risks and issues in global and remote delivery settings.

• Solid understanding of Data and Analytics technologies: Azure (ADF, Synapse/Fabric, Databricks, Data Lake) and SAP BW/4HANA; familiarity with Power BI concepts is desirable.

• High proficiency in English, C1 or C2 level.

• Proactive, structured, and execution-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to project outcomes.
