Data Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete data processing of invoice data elements, including review and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness across various systems.

• Track intricate data workflows, pinpoint root causes of discrepancies, and implement necessary corrective measures.

• Lead initiatives for reporting, advanced data analysis, and performance monitoring for essential business metrics.

• Write and enhance complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data effectively.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design and execute process enhancements.

• Identify, recommend, and assist in the development of automation solutions, utilizing prompts (for example), to minimize manual efforts and boost efficiency.

• Document standard operating procedures and provide training to junior team members.

• Act as an escalation point for data-related issues, system concerns, and troubleshooting across teams.

• Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries regarding data accuracy, reporting, or system-related issues.

• Engage with customers mainly through tickets to gather requirements, clarify needs, and translate findings into clear explanations, while identifying pain points and suggesting enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in data operations, analytics, or a comparable position.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Proven experience in managing customer relationships or handling escalations.

• Comfortable interacting directly with customers via email and phone.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership regarding data accuracy.

• Capable of handling multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines with minimal oversight.

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
