Data Modeler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain an analytical common data model that amalgamates data sourced from Electronic Health Records.

• Collaborate closely with data engineers and business stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and convert them into both logical and physical data models for the common data model.

• Ensure that the data model is scalable, efficient, and thoroughly documented.

• Employ data modeling tools such as Erwin or ER Studio to design and construct the common data model.

• Partner with downstream consumer teams to verify that the data model fulfills their analytical and reporting needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data modeling.

• Previous experience with U.S. ambulatory healthcare data, including EHR and practice management systems.

• Demonstrated ability to design and implement a canonical common data model that consolidates data from various sources.

• Proficient in data modeling tools.

• Skilled in SQL and familiar with data ingestion and ETL processes in cloud environments.

• Understanding of healthcare standards such as HL7, FHIR, and CCDA.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Exposure to Python is a plus.

• Familiarity with data analytics tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and Sigma is a plus.
