Data Modeler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collect and assess data requirements along with data flows between various systems.

• Convert database requirements into structured logical data models.

• Create physical data models that outline database architectures.

• Enhance database performance by implementing effective indexing and establishing table relationships.

• Analyze trends and produce reports along with recommendations for both internal and external clients.

• Design data architectures and work on the development and improvement of the data warehouse.

• Plan, develop, execute, and sustain a data warehouse that integrates data from various organizational sources and systems.

• Formulate strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and database deployment.

• Oversee data migrations and conversions.

• Resolve data processing challenges.

• Independently manage projects and processes with minimal oversight.

• Mentor and evaluate the work of junior professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data modeling across multiple RDBMS.

• At least 3 years of experience in modeling data lineage and translating data between systems with varying data schemas.

• Proficiency with AWS database technologies such as Postgres, Redshift, or Athena.

• Experience using physical/logical data modeling tools like Idera Team Studio.

• Advanced education is preferred.
