This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Assist development teams and users in maximizing the efficiency of data systems.

• Generate reports and conduct data extraction as needed.

• Offer advice on data quality and data collection methodologies.

• Assess and track the effectiveness of data systems.

• Contribute insights regarding database security and data protection.

• Recognize, probe, and aid in resolving data-related challenges.

• Execute data analysis across extensive and intricate datasets.

• Facilitate data mapping, transformation, aggregation, and computation.

• Design and oversee Business Intelligence solutions.

• Initiate and manage data management projects in partnership with subject matter experts.

• Deliver user assistance and technical advice on data-related issues.

• Create and sustain technical documentation.


⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Data Manager.

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of IT experience, or a non-university degree with at least 8 years of IT experience.

• Robust foundation in Computer Science and software development.

• Proficiency in programming and application maintenance.

• Comprehensive knowledge of data management, including data mapping, transformation, aggregation, and calculations involving large and complex datasets.

• Profound understanding of SQL.

• Significant hands-on experience with at least one data management, data science, or BI platform such as Power BI, R, FME, or Qlik.

• Experience in conducting data analysis.

• Background in developing and managing Business Intelligence solutions.

• Familiarity with establishing and overseeing data management projects.

• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Good grasp of Security and Privacy by Design principles.

• Awareness of GDPR regulations.

• Experience in providing user support on data-related topics.

• Capability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.

• Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing technologies.

• Nice to have: Experience with Machine Learning (ML) and/or Artificial Intelligence.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with work item management tools such as Azure DevOps.

• Strong analytical and data management capabilities.

• Comfort in working with large and intricate datasets.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, users, and subject matter experts.

• Focused on data quality, security, and privacy.

• Ability to translate complex data requirements into actionable solutions.

• Adaptability in evolving technology landscapes.
