Data Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Formulate strategies for data collection, processing, analysis, and visualization, emphasizing various data types, particularly Big Data (Data Lake, Delta Lake).

• Ensure project alignment with the company's strategic vision and adhere to data governance standards, which will be established by this role in collaboration with the area's Data Architect.

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of data professionals, including data engineers, data analysts, data architects, and other related roles.

• Create a collaborative and inspiring environment that encourages the professional growth of the team members.

• Supervise the integrity, security, and quality of the data gathered and utilized within the project.

• Apply data governance best practices to guarantee compliance with regulations and internal policies.

• Work alongside cybersecurity teams to safeguard data from threats and vulnerabilities.

• Discover opportunities to adopt new technologies or methodologies that can enhance data management and analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in leading Data and Analytics teams, encompassing people management, prioritizing requests, and delivering business-focused solutions.

• Proficient in Databricks, SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud data architecture.

• Experience with BI and data visualization, along with knowledge of data governance, data quality, and KPI definition.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.

• Certifications or courses in data, analytics, cloud, and leadership are advantageous.

• Analytical mindset with a strategic vision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to align data with business objectives.
