This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Propel revenue growth in Data Licensing.
• Identify and convert new opportunities in data licensing.
• Develop and oversee a valuable pipeline targeting direct clients and data marketplaces.
• Achieve or surpass sales goals consistently.
• Utilize an existing network to facilitate quick introductions.
• Leverage well-established relationships within the data licensing ecosystem.
• Engage with senior stakeholders at organizations that buy, aggregate, or monetize data.
• Structure and execute intricate, non-standard agreements.
• Create adaptable commercial models (e.g., licensing, revenue sharing, risk-sharing, hybrid arrangements).
• Navigate unconventional deal structures that align incentives among all parties.
• Advance deals in uncertain or changing circumstances.
• Lead complex contract negotiations.
• Act as the main commercial representative in contract discussions, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and data licensing agreements.
• Interpret and negotiate essential terms related to data rights, intellectual property, privacy, resale, and downstream usage.
• Demonstrate strong judgment in differentiating between business and legal decisions.
• Serve as a market authority and internal thought leader.
• Provide real-time insights on market trends, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning to leadership.
• Influence product strategy and roadmap based on direct feedback from clients and market insights.
• Collaborate closely with product, legal, and operations teams to enhance offerings.
• Function autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage ambiguity, shifting priorities, and new opportunities effectively.
• Maintain robust forecasting, pipeline discipline, and execution rigor.
• Direct experience in licensing tokenized data assets.
• Established connections within the data and data licensing ecosystem (e.g., pharmaceuticals, analytics/consulting firms, data aggregators, data marketplaces).
• Proven history of consistently achieving or surpassing sales targets.
• Demonstrated capability to structure and finalize complex deals, including non-standard or innovative commercial arrangements.
• Extensive experience in leading contract negotiations.
• Proficient in reading, interpreting, and negotiating legal agreements with assurance.
• Strong judgment in differentiating business decisions from legal ones.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in CRM and contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Icertis).
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.
