Data Labeling Analyst – Speech & Voice AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Refresh training and testing model databases with newly created or modified synthetic text and image data.

• Adjust and enhance guidelines for the creation, annotation, and rating of machine learning data.

• Start the model training processes using internal tools and command-line interfaces.

• Assess the performance of trained models for effectiveness and readiness for deployment.

• Create and develop training and testing datasets in accordance with project specifications.

• Oversee data integrity throughout the entire workflow.

• Execute data relevance tasks that align with project objectives.

• Accurately annotate data following established guidelines.

• Perform manual quality assessments of model outcomes.

• Detect error patterns and report anomalies for further investigation.

• Provide comprehensive reports on utterance quality, LLM evaluation, ASR bug tracking, and customer pain points for User Experience Research analysis.

• Implement fundamental quality control practices.

• Utilize intermediate data analysis techniques to derive insights and support decision-making processes.

• Resolve discrepancies to maintain consistent data quality.

• Leverage basic knowledge of natural language processing and linguistics in data handling.

• Guarantee linguistic accuracy in the processed and annotated data.

• Basic understanding of machine learning, data annotation, quality assurance, and natural language processing.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, or a related discipline (preferred).

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Familiarity with command-line tools and interfaces.

• Robust analytical skills with the capability to recognize patterns and anomalies.

• Focus on English US datasets; experience with translation or multilingual datasets is advantageous for future projects.
