Data Annotators – Native Japanese, French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze SMS and email communications in spreadsheets.

• Categorize each message in accordance with predefined annotation standards.

• Accurately and consistently apply labels while upholding high quality criteria.

• Process around 2,500 messages daily, achieving both productivity and quality benchmarks.

• Recognize ambiguous or edge-case instances and escalate them as necessary.

• Engage in regular team calibration sessions and peer evaluations, dedicating approximately 10% of work time.

• Adhere to project documentation, workflows, and data management protocols.

• Proactively communicate with the project team regarding inquiries, issues, or clarifications on guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level fluency in Japanese or French, both spoken and written.

• Exceptional command of English.

• Availability to work within EMEA or USA time zones.

• Outstanding reading comprehension, including understanding of colloquial language, slang, abbreviations, and regional dialects.

• Keen attention to detail and the capability to make precise, consistent decisions based on detailed instructions.

• Comfortable handling large volumes of repetitive data while ensuring accuracy.

• Ability to meet deadlines and achieve daily productivity goals.

• Familiarity with reviewing scam attempts, offensive language, profanity, or other sensitive content.

• Experience with spreadsheet software.

• Prior involvement in data annotation, content moderation, data labeling, quality assurance, or linguistic projects is beneficial.

• Preference for candidates with experience in AI or machine learning data annotation projects.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to recognize patterns and detect inconsistencies in data.

• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate within an international remote team.

• Capability to work autonomously while adhering to detailed instructions.
