Data & Imaging Specialist – Mortgage Deal Setup

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Import Excel data into operational systems and ensure accurate mapping is applied.

• Aid in image processing and upload image files to operational systems.

• Develop and manage file directories.

• Evaluate, identify, and verify the quality and viability of loan image files.

• Access loan image files across the company's image database.

• Create an inventory of image and data files, merge image files, and upload them to operational systems.

• Ensure that inventory results are delivered promptly and reported according to established protocols.

• Collaborate with Client Service Managers to confirm that all necessary items for tasks have been provided by the client.

• Transfer data and image files and troubleshoot any inventory issues.

• Maintain data and files in consistent formats within the company database and image network.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by your manager.

• This position may also include media functions, such as receiving and logging shipments of new media for the deal setup team’s workflow.

• Assist in the extraction and transfer of image files to operational systems.

• Review, analyze, and report on current server capacity across multiple drive shares to aid the Deal Setup team in planning space for upcoming workflows.

• Oversee and coordinate file archiving operations as part of regular server capacity maintenance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Intermediate-level support staff with 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred, but not mandatory.

• Experience in a technology-based environment is preferred.

• Experience in the mortgage industry is advantageous, but not essential.

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

• Familiarity with Access or SQL is preferred but not required.

• Ability to create and manipulate spreadsheets, including pivot tables and v-lookups, and utilize reporting tools and queries for data and image file tasks.

• Strong analytical skills, good judgment, and the capacity for strategic and multidimensional thinking are essential.

• Detail-oriented and highly organized individuals are encouraged to apply.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.

• Experience in establishing and managing drive mappings for both external and internal drives.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic network issues at both the computer and server level.

• Basic understanding of various Windows server platforms, specifically Windows Server 2012 R2 and 2016, among others.

• A working knowledge of troubleshooting in Windows 10/11 is necessary for supporting imaging issues.
