This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement the enterprise data governance framework throughout OneLake and Fabric workspace layers, which includes cataloging, lineage, ownership, and access control.
• Establish and enforce data cataloging standards for Bronze/Silver/Gold assets, encompassing Lakehouse tables, Warehouse objects, and Semantic Model entities.
• Set up comprehensive data lineage tracking from source systems (ERP, CTRM, SAP) through transformation layers to the final reporting data products.
• Develop and implement data quality rules and validation frameworks across ingestion and transformation layers, integrated with Fabric pipeline execution.
• Specify naming conventions, data classification standards, and workspace-level access control policies that align with Fabric governance capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with SAP S/4HANA and CTRM integration workstreams to document source-system metadata and lineage for all essential data domains.
• Formulate and lead the master data management strategy for key shared entities across trading, finance, and logistics domains.
• Generate governance documentation, data stewardship process guides, and training materials for client data owners and analysts.
• Over 7 years of experience in data governance, data management, or data architecture with proven implementations of production governance frameworks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure or Fabric governance capabilities, with Microsoft Purview being a significant advantage for OneLake/Fabric cataloging and lineage.
• Extensive background in data lineage, metadata management, and data quality frameworks at an enterprise level.
• Knowledge of financial or commodity trading data domains and the governance challenges associated with multi-source, cross-domain environments.
• Proven experience in defining stewardship processes and collaborating with business owners to operationalize governance policies.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical, data, or business field (or equivalent experience).
