Data Governance Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in driving data governance initiatives pertaining to data quality, standardization, and proper documentation.

• Support the validation and profiling of datasets to uncover data quality issues and inconsistencies.

• Aid in the upkeep of data definitions, data dictionaries, and metadata documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to comprehend business requirements and assist with fundamental data mapping tasks.

• Implement established data quality checks and help resolve any data discrepancies.

• Facilitate data migration and integration efforts through thorough documentation and validation activities.

• Utilize SQL to query and validate data under the mentorship of senior team members.

• Work together with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance with data governance standards.

• Clearly and accurately document processes, workflows, and data-related procedures.

• Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing data governance processes.

• Fundamental understanding of data governance and quality management principles.

• Basic experience in gathering requirements and analyzing processes for enhancement.

• Experience in systems engineering and integration practices.

• Basic proficiency in SQL, DataBricks, and/or database management.

• Initial experience in crafting technical documentation.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
