Data Engineer Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire data-chain responsibilities for the Foundation Pod, including ingestion, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Power BI semantic layers

• Design, enhance, and sustain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines along with Gold-certified datasets for business intelligence and analytics

• Create and manage high-performance Power BI semantic models and dashboards

• Implement Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and integration layers that align with the global data strategy

• Establish automated data quality checks, validation protocols, and monitoring systems

• Develop integrations between ERP/CRM systems, third-party applications, and analytics platforms

• Collaborate with the Core Team's Data Architect regarding platform standards

• Improve query performance, pipeline execution times, and manage cloud storage and compute costs

• Supervise the work of peer engineers, ensure adherence to pipeline SLAs, and maintain technical documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake (or similar Azure data platform experience)

• Demonstrated success in designing end-to-end Bronze/Silver/Gold medallion architectures

• Proficiency in Azure Data Factory pipeline design and defining data contracts

• Extensive experience in Power BI semantic modeling and advanced DAX authoring

• Hands-on experience integrating ERP and CRM source systems into a cohesive data platform

• Strong technical leadership capabilities, including directing engineering efforts and ensuring pipeline SLAs are met

• Professional proficiency in English (B2+ level or higher)

• Experience with Infor SyteLine or Infor ION integrations (preferred)

• Familiarity with managing regulated or medical-device data within an ISO 13485 framework (preferred)

• Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep or Terraform) and CI/CD processes for data pipelines (preferred)

• Practical experience with source systems such as OneStream, Workday, or Fusion PLM (preferred)
